As an artist and art director I’ve had the good fortune to work on a wide variety of game titles over the years with genres ranging from AAA fantasy and science fiction to core and casual as well pen and paper RPGs, TV commercials and an unannounced movie. This has included establishing the visual pillars, concepting, story boarding, UI, game assets and directing internal and external teams.
I've had the pleasure of working with teams around the world. Successful external work depends on strong internal support and organization. It's critical to remember the external teams are not privy to the studio tribal knowledge and western idioms and references.
